Welcome to Chimera Music. . .
One of the most interesting and innovative bands to have come out of North Yorkshire in the last year, Chimera have proved themselves to be flexible and versatile, moving effortlessly from smooth delivery of popular Jazz standards to gypsy abandon with Celtic and Eastern European Fiddle Tunes. Add a little Ska, Latin and Classical and you have a band who manage to court the mainstream without compromising their originality. Whether you are 17 or 70, there will be something here to seduce your musical tastes.
Chimera comprise 2 Fiddles, 2 Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard, Didgeridoo, Tin Whistle Bass and Drums. The music and delivery is up beat and the band likes to have fun both on stage and with the audience. The overall package guarantees a night of quality music delivered in a style that is both humorous and entertaining. Well worth checking out!
